On Saturday September 3rd the winners of the Third IUCN Red List of Ecosystems Photo Contest - Ecosystems at the Crossroads were announced publicly at the IUCN World Conservation Congress, in Honolulu, Hawai’i. As in the previous edition of the IUCN Red List of Ecosystems Photo Contest, one of the most important international events in the field of conservation was selected to hold an exhibition of the finalist photos and to carry out the official announcement of the winners. On this opportunity, it was the IUCN’s World Conservation Congress.
