Until July 8, will be extended the deadline for the reception of photos to participate in the Third IUCN Red List of Ecosystems Photo Contest.
In order to expand the possibilities of participation, the Red List of Ecosystems Team, has decided to extend the deadline for the reception of photographs until Friday July 8th 2016 at 23:59 UTC-4:00 (Venezuelan Time Zone).
In its third edition, this contest has the objective to raise awareness of our planet's ecosystem diversity, their current status and how they are changing, inviting the public to participate in two categories: Wild Beauty and Changing World, either through Individual Photo or Series of Photos.
For the selection of the winning photos we will count with the collaboration of an important group of jurors, comprise by: Arianna Arteaga Quintero (Venezuela), Antonio Briceño Linares (Spain), Lucia Pizzani (England), Malini Pittet (Switzerland), Neil Coffey (Scotland) and Nelson Hipollyte (USA), as well as public support. The finalist photographs will be part of a photographic exhibition at the IUCN World Conservation Congress, to be held 1-10 September 2016 in Hawai'i. The announcement of the contest winners will also take place during this event, specifically on September 3rd at 19:00, local time.
We encourage you to participate and promote the conservation of the ecosystems that surround you and which you are part of!
